U-tek Singles and Mat
Two styles: cut-to-size mat for wrap-around applications, and single packets for use as a crushed-ice substitute. 
  • Cushions fragile shipments; won't dilute ice baths or damage samples. 
  • May be refrozen and reused, withstands pressures of 60 pounds per square inch for five minutes or longer. 
  • Unaffected by biocides, fungicides, and pest control agents. 
  • Patented refrigerant contains neutral pH distilled or deionized water and proprietary materials certified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as food grade chemicals.

*A 50 lb. C02 cylinder at room temperature contains approximately 42-43 obs. of usable liquid C02. The balance is vapor, which does not convert to solid dry ice.

**Maximum yield of solid dry ice can be obtained from 320 lb. liquid C02 cylinders. This size is generally more economical and provides optimum dry ice production.Yield can be significantly increased at lower temperatures (e.g., at 0°F, approximately 1/3 more blocks will be produced).
